Pimp C Found Dead In Hotel Room strong>

Another tragic loss has hit the Hip Hop community today as Pimp C, one half of UGK, was found dead in his hotel room this morning. He was reportedly 35 years old at the time of his death.

Pimp C was an acclaimed producer and rapper from Port Arthur, Texas. With Bun B, as UGK the duo found underground anthems in "I Left It Wet For You," "Feel Like I'm The One Who's Doing Dope," and more recently with Outkast in "International Player's Anthem." Earlier this year, UGK's Underground Kingz achieved chart status previously unseen from the group. As a solo artist, Pimp C also released two albums with Rap-A-Lot Records.

The artist spent the early part of the decade incarcerated for complications due to an assault charge. His "Free Pimp C" campaign, spearheaded by Bun B, is remembered for upholding the rapper's visibility despite a three-year prison sentence.

Nas Album to Be named "Nigger" release date pushed back

Nas album has been pushed back till February, which is Black history month. This album is set to be one of Hip Hop's most controversial. Nas states he is attempting to reclaim the word and remove the negative imagery associated with the word. A song named "What it is" was leaked on to the net, but Nas stated that was done purposely. He also stated that the song would not make the final cut of songs to be released.

It has debuted at number 1 on myspace, with over 400,000 plays in one day. The album is called the Boatlift and is scheduled out tomorrow. Pitbull is not the best mcee lyrically, but he can get the party off and running. I'm sure he'll have a few club bangers on this one.

Owl Spotting, NYPD Camera's and the Steel Ring

Many of you have heard or already know that New York is a Police State. Camera's have been installed in every Borough and we are being watched at all times. Bloomberg announced the ring of steel, a camera system developed to constantly have visibility of criminals and those wanted for prior crimes. Face recognition is in full affect, so clear up those warrants. The NYPD has even gone as far as spying on us thru Bronze Owl's they install on rooftops. I have located 4 so far, 2 are located on South 2nd and Havemeyer in Williamsburg. The birds are perched on top of the corner red building. The third is located towards the end of the Myrtle Platform on the J and M Lines. walk to the back of the queens bound station. Then look up at the tire fix shop thats been closed 20 years, and Bam Bam Bam there it is staring at you. The forth is on Hale Ave, Located between Fulton and Ridgewood. He was seen wearing white shades and mocking Kanye to the Stronger Instrumental. Word is that Cassidy and Gillie Da Kid almost came to blows. If they battle Cassidy will end his career.

Stack Bundles Murderer Arrested

New York authorities believe Lee Woods, a man allegedly involved in the recent shooting of two Brooklyn cops, is the same person who shot and killed Dipset affiliate Stack Bundles.
As SOHH previously reported Stack Bundles (born Rayquon Elliott) was shot once in the head and once in the neck in the lobby of his Far Rockaway building in June. He was 24 years old.
"Woods is bad, just bad," a police source told New York's Daily News. "He killed Rayquon for a dumb-@#* robbery."
The Queens native was arrested on Tuesday (July 10). Woods is accused of being the driver of the stolen BMW, which was pulled over by two uniformed cops in Crown Heights on Monday (July 9).
When the officers approached the car they were met with a hail of bullets, which left one cop on life support and paralyzed from the neck down.
Woods was reportedly driving his friends, two ex-cons, Dexter Bostick and Robert Ellis.
Woods, who claims he never fired any shots, was charged yesterday ( July 11) with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, weapons possession and other crimes. He could face life in prison if convicted.

Remy Ma Accused of Shooting Her Friend

The 26-year-old Bronx-born rap starlet allegedly shot Makeda Barnes-Joseph, 23, after accusing her of stealing about $3,000 while they partied at the upscale Pizza Bar on Ninth Ave. near W. 14th St., cops said.

Remy denies her involvement in the shooting, but all the newspapers are dead set on painting her as a hardened criminal. Its terrible how these publications abuse the power they have over the general population.

The Foxy Brown Beat Down News Update

Foxy Brown — who's on probation for assault and facing a battery charge in a separate case — had another brush with violence over the weekend. But this time, she was the victim, police said.
Four people teamed up to rob the rapper of a Louis Vuitton bag, $500 in cash and credit cards around 5:30 a.m. Saturday at Crescent Street and Stanley Avenue in the East New York section of Brooklyn, police said.

Roshawn Anthony, 23, was arrested on robbery charges in the incident, police said.

She was arraigned Sunday on charges of robbery, assault and grand larceny, a spokesman for the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office said. Bail was set at $50,000 and her next court date was June 28. She was represented by Legal Aid, which did not return a telephone call seeking comment.

But Foxy Brown told the New York Post that the robbery never happened, and she hadn't been at the location police gave, near a public housing complex.

"A lot of the time, people mistake me for someone else, or people always call in these false tips," Brown told the newspaper outside her Brooklyn brownstone Saturday.

Police said the rapper, whose real name is Inga Marchand, had indeed been attacked.

Akon Legal Problems

Akon is facing a slew of legal problems steming from several incidents while on Tour. His face has been plastered through out the net on several videos showing him acting inappropriately. In one video he tosses a 15 year old boy off a stage, in the second he is accused of molesting a 15 year old girl. He has since issued an appology for the second incident. Stating he had no idea the girl was 15 years old, since it was an 18 and over venue. Most of the videos have been removed from the net, we are trying to bring you footage of both incidents.

Stack Bundles Murder Suspect Killed

Charles White, 20, an aspiring rapper, was killed execution-style in a house on 176th St. in Queens about 12:20 a.m., cops said. He was found dead on a sofa with a pillow over his head and two bullet wounds behind his ear and a leg wound, a source said.

Cops say White's murder may be in retaliation for the death of Rayquon Elliott, 24, known as Stack Bundles, who was shot dead in the lobby of his Far Rockaway residence on June 11, another police source said.

Cops suspect White may have gone to Virginia, where he lived, right after the Elliott murder, but returned to New York last Saturday with friend Kelvin Brown, 27, who had just left the home when White was shot, sources said.

After hearing the shots, Brown ran back into the home and called police, cops said.

Neighbors on the normally quiet street expressed shock that a shooting occurred in the vacant house. It has been up for sale by the owners, Green Team Realty, for several months, according to a woman who answered the phone at the real estate company.

One neighbor, who didn't want to give his name, saw three men on the stoop of the home Sunday night.

"One of them said Happy Father's Day to me," said the neighbor, 71, who described the men as "young and very polite and nice."

The scene of the shooting is directly across the street from the Friendship Baptist Church.

"Everything happens according to the company you keep," said the church's pastor, Deacon Garrett Turley, 53.

No arrests have been made. The investigation is continuing, cops said.

Foxy Brown was one happy woman yesterday after she beat the charges and left court a free person. Many people thought she was going the route of Lil Kim, but that didn't happen. After a few years of legal problems and ear trouble Foxy is supposed to be coming out again. We will wait and see if the Ill Nana will ever regain her status in Hip Hop.

Fabolous, Beats the Gun Charge

All gun charges against Fabolous was dropped yesterday, he left court without making a comment. However, his lawyer stated he was really happy to beat the case and have the charges drop against him.

He was arrested last year after being shot leaving Justins restaurant. Once at the hospital police officers checked the vehicle he arrived in and found to guns. However, they couldn't prove the gats belonged to Fab and so he beat the case. Flash the smile buddy, you caught a break.

The Sopranos Finally, I know im Late.....

Ok, so The Sopranos has ended and most fans are pissed the fuck off. I mean what the fuck was that?. Why bother guessing what happened to Tony and his family. Did he get wacked, or did he just ride of into the sunset. Most people are guessing they will make a movie to answer these questions. But will you go and see it after they played us like that. Phil getting killed was the best part of the entire episode. He wanted to Decapitate the Sopranos and he ended up getting his head crushed. If you go by the subliminals written in each episode then I guess Tony got wacked. You never hear or see it coming, everything just goes black. Bobby said it in the boat, and maybe thats how it ended. Either Tony got killed or they wacked all their fans.

Nas arrested in Hungery

The story is a lie, Nas was not arrested for not performing. He was scheduled to perform but the promoter didn't fulfill his end of the business agreement. Bitch better have my money. Nas was disappointed because he was excited to perform in Hungery, it would have been his first show in that area.

Timbaland Stomps Out a Racist

He was killed earlier today, in front of his home at around 11am. He was just signed to Desert Storm records and was best known for his appearances on various mixed cd's. He was a very talented EMCEE and will be truly missed by all his fans. We lose yet another one. A moment of silence for the big homie Stack Bundles.

Graff Writer Arrested ZEN

Police at the 111th Precinct have arrested a graffiti vandal who they believe is responsible for covering northeastern Queens with his tag - ZEN. At about 2 a.m. on Monday, May 28, an officer on regular patrol caught 19-year-old Stephen Stavredes in the act.

According to police, Stavredes, who lives near 33rd Avenue and 172nd Street in Whitestone, had almost completed a large tag with black and silver paint on a storefront at 211th Street and Horace Harding Expressway in Oakland Gardens. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, making graffiti, and possession of graffiti instruments - two cans of spray paint.

Police said that there are “numerous” complaints currently open on the ZEN tag, and that they believe more may yet be reported.

“There is ZEN all over northeastern Queens,” said 111th Precinct Community Affairs Officer Bill Conway.
